Heating and Hot Water Charges : Frozen Again

Date Posted: March 28, 2018

Once again the West Whitlawburn Housing Co-operative Management Committee is delighted to announce that charges for all heating and hot water supplied by WWHC will be frozen from 1st April 2018 – 31st March 2019. This will be the fifth consecutive year we have been able to freeze prices.

You will note from press and media reports the considerable increase in fuel costs by the majority of the big fuel suppliers, often more than 10%.

WWHC is able to keep charges frozen again by virtue of the fact we are a not-for-profit organisation, we have efficient cost controls and a long term fuel purchase policy in place.

In addition we are delighted to note that due to our fuel source being biomass we are contributing an estimated 1,600 tonnes of carbon savings each year to the environment.

If you have any questions or want further information on your heating system please do not hesitate to contact the office.
